Integrated Third-Party Warehouse and Automated Fulfilment
Challenge
A wholesale company based in the Canton of Bern supplies products to several large retail and distribution customers across Switzerland.
These customers place their orders electronically using different formats, specifications, and communication standards. Processing these orders manually would require significant administrative effort, increase the risk of errors, and slow down internal operations.
In addition, large customers regularly update their technical requirements and ordering formats, making it difficult for SMEs to maintain these integrations on their own.
Solution
Soludoo implemented an automated order processing solution based on Odoo. Incoming customer orders are automatically transferred into Odoo, where they are processed through the company's existing sales, inventory, and fulfilment workflows.
To ensure long-term stability, Odoo is connected to a specialised integration partner who manages the translation of customer-specific order formats and continuously maintains the connection whenever large customers introduce technical changes.
This approach allows the customer to benefit from a highly automated process without having to manage the complexity of multiple external standards internally. Odoo remains the central platform for managing orders and business operations.
